1) Sites must NOT contain pornography, racist content (banners included), explicit language, or nudity.
2) All applicants MUST BE at least 14 years of age for submission (COPPA).
3) NO "under construction " signs.
4) No excessive amount of broken links, not to mention a site that is MOSTLY links. I am looking for CONTENT. I want to see some real original ideas put to use. Give me something to remember-- to come back for more.
5) Spelling and grammar should be correct. I am a stickler for that one!
6) Copyrights should be displayed whenever necessary. Please give credit where credit is due when using the talent and work of others.
7) Sites MUST be in English. It is the only language I know and can read.
8) Please have all graphics downloading from your own computer. This eliminates unloaded material and also prevents bandwidth stealing from others.
9) NO commercial sites, please.
10) Ease of navigation a must. Excessive use of the BACK button is unnecessary when you can place a link button there for that purpose.
11) You MUST have a place for awards and my award MUST be linked back to my site. I will have a page of WINNERS for my awards, and you will be linked there, so be as considerate.
12) Sites that freeze my browser or crash my computer are a NO NO.
13) LIMIT your popups. I dont mind the server ones.
